Project 1: Principles of Organization
Overview:
For our first project, we focused of four main principles: Asymmetrical (Balance), Scale, Rhythm, and Emphasis. We also added themes for each principle: Type, Organic, Scanned, and Hand Drawn. Each Design is share the same color schematic to tie in the themes.
Template:
The begining of this process is developing the idea for each principle. By reasearching for the various definitions of both subjects, I was able to design various examples for each category. Of course, these were all hand drawn, and was later used in programs such as InDesign and Illustrator.
After this long process, We then use the programs InDesign( Illustrator depending on preference) to use our ideas on the multiple topics.
Asymmetrical (Balance):
A stable state characterized by cancelation of all forces by equal opposing forces.
Scale:
A progressive classification of size, ammount, importance, or rank.
Rhythm:
The effect of recurring or repetious lines, colours, forms, etc.
Emphasis:
Sharpness or vividness of outline, prominence.
